Lightning McQueen

Another image from neighborhood[ing] with Courtney.

As of late we caught up on all the episodes we missed from the past 1 1/2 seasons of the Office and Parks and Rec. Not really much for TV so when people ask what I watch I never know how to respond because I'm not caught up with anything.

Also watched the small animation "The Running Man" which is from a collection of shorts from "Neo Tokyo", been meaning to watch the other 2 shorts just been lazy about it. Watched this due to a recommendation from a good friend over at NewGrounds, reach his page at phobotech.newgrounds.com.

Last night we watched the Coen Brothers black and white film "The Man Who Wasn't There", very good film with Thornton, Johansson and an overall classy cast, recommend if you got 2 hours to spare.

Heard about this photographic film called "Salt" which I bought today online, it's a 30 minute film about a photographers yearly trek through the salt flats of Lake Eyre, Australia. It was a damn good film and highly recommend it as well.

11129

What do you think? This was in front of some warehouse near I35 and Royal Lane and on this overcast day they caught my eye as Courtney and I were driving by.

There's another to this, here you go!

Skeleton

Still getting used to this format as blogging is not a strength of mine, usually I just post an image and let it be.

This is another image from the adventure Courtney and I had a few days ago. The abandoned house even laid claim to this squirrel skeleton (I think it is).

Black Cat

Out adventuring with Courtney. The weather in Dallas cooled down significantly which means it doesn't feel like the sun is trying to melt you into oblivion. I actually scared this cat off into this area about 3 minutes before finding him here, he/she was cleverly hidden under some wood near the garage area. I don't post much on blogger but I'll give it another shot.

Downtown Dallas

This was a trip taken to downtown dallas. There's more pictures, just the most interesting one I could find. Perhaps I will post more. Hope everyone's week started out well!

Massive Clouds

I've been out for a while finishing up this semester and just relaxing afterwards. Here is a shot I got from the top of a garage. As I was driving on that highway in this shot I noticed those massive clouds so I had to take a shot. I also bought a Mamiya RB67 this weekend and learned how to use it. Now all I need to do is buy a film scanner. Overall great weekend for Courtney and I.

Sunset 2-14-2009

This shot was taken on Valentine's day! Quite a while back but one of my favorite shots by far. I went out to the Parker area and I remember the clouds were moving in quickly so I had to set up fast. I tried to make sure the framing was good but I'm not sure that worked out so well. Here's the shot though!

:)

Take care!
